Verify that you have all necessary prerequisites.

Download and run installer.

If you are installing on a public machine with limited permissions, click here for further installation instructions.

For Windows 7, if you install Continuity in the default directory of C:\Program Files (x86), you will need to run Continuity as ‘administrator’. You can do that by right-clicking on the Continuity icon on the desktop, and then select ‘Run as administrator’. To make that change permanent, you can right-click on the Continuity icon then from Properties -> Shortcut -> Advanced, you can check the ‘Run as administrator’ box and it will always run as administrator.

Download tarball
- From command line, type the following commands:

tar -xzvf cont6_<release_number>.tgz cd continuity ./setup ./continuity

It’s recommended that you add continuity to your path, preferably in your .bashrc file, like this:
- export PATH=/your/path/to/continuity:$PATH
MacOS X (Intel)

As of version 7087 we no longer support Mac OSX 10.5, and only support 10.6 and above.

Verify that you have all necessary prerequisites.

Download and run installer. You can launch Continuity by clicking on the heart icon in the Dock for 10.6, or from the Launchpad for 10.7 and above.
